This year is the 15th Anniversary of The Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust and Brain Tumour Awareness Month is in March. 2011 was a great year for the trust and saw their highest income total yet, but more needs to be done to raise money for more research projects, support and information days.
There are a number of ways you can raise money by getting involved in a wide range of activities from Skydiving, cycling challenges, bungee jumping, sports days, tea parties or running your own event.
It's really important that The Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust gets as much support as possible so the carers, nurses, doctors, researchers and fundraisers can keep doing such a wonderful job. Every penny counts. Thank you for reading this. The Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust is very important to me and if you have visited their website through 'into the OUTSIDE' then that's great and thank you.
I'll be getting involved in something crazy this March that's for sure and I'll be setting up a justgiving page so keep checking in for updates. Maybe another skydive, it's been a few years!!!
If you would also like to get involved then visit the Brain Tumour Awareness Month website at btam.org.uk braintumourtrust.co.uk.

HeadSmart is a project that aims to enhance the awareness of symptoms of brain tumours in children and young people. Their website is intended for the public and for
health professionals, to help us all work together to improve diagnosis
of childhood brain tumours in the UK. Please visit the Headsmart website at http://www.headsmart.org.uk/
Peace,
